The importance of self

I really am starting to be annoyed by people (myself included) who minimize things that are important. I have talked to many friends and family members lately who have taken important life events and thrown them into this "not important" category without considering the consequences of that.

I am not the prioritizer for anyone. But there are just certain truths that exists in life. Your feelings are important. Your family (by blood or soul) and the time you have with them is important. The connections you make with people and the effects they have on your life are important.

I believe that we would all be better served if we cherished every moment we have to discover the connections we have with the rest of the world and with ourselves. The times of quiet truly are the moments that define us and our lives.
